Rapha Supercross Rd1 Broughton Hall Skipton

The're was a few of Cliftons youth section at todays cyclocross race at Skipton, my step daughter Kayleigh Wells taking second place in the girls under 12 race having lead for all but the last 200m ! Racing can be so cruel sometimes.

Some of the youth section were racing the British SchoolsYorkshire Region cyclocross championships yesterday over at Liversedge West Yorks, Cavan and Kayleigh winning the under13 Boys and Kayleigh the under 11 Girls.

I take it from your post that you are wanting to develop your cyclocross skills with a view to race, if this is the case then a little imagination is all thats needed. Key skills are cornering, riding off camber grass, dismounting/ remounting and bunny hops although most organisers make ...

Problem with 3/4th cat races is no breaks seem to stick unless there's hills involved or a really strong cross wind where no one can hide if its strung out. Unfortunately on a flat circuit nothing will get away whilst other teams/clubs chase everything.

Plenty of people tried getting away last night but unfortunately there was rock racing who thought they had a mark cavendish amongst their ranks. For the second half of the race they put riders on the front of the bunch, everytime someone jumped they brought them back. Not once did they attack ...

How about bossal, crambe then menelthorpe joining the malton loop at the quary just before the drop into malton. Plenty of rises but nothing too taxing and quiet roads
