Criterium du Universite 1 & 2
Swung by the circuit on the way back chaingang to find the women's race in full swing and the men warming up. I stayed for the men's race, in which Rob Grey took 2nd place, and at least one more Clifton rider scored some points. Apparently one of our number took 5th or 6th in the 4th's only race on Tuesday night. I'm sure it'll all come up on the BC website, but well done to everyone involved, and good luck to Rob, who's racing at Hillingdon on Saturday and Malton on Sunday.

Well spotted - the results are up and Clifton got:
2/3/4 race:
2nd Rob Gray
3rd Rob Pape
7th Mike Moss
4ths Race: 4th Martin Hinchcliffe (Graduates to 3rd Cat!)
Elite Race: 7th Mike Moss (Top 3rd Cat!)
On the Yorkshire Regional Clubs board, Clifton CC have risen to 8th! Well done all! There seems to be something weird going on with Rob Pape's scores, as there's no obvious reason why all 25 points he's collected shouldn't be contributing points for our Regional Club score.
On the Clifton riders regional points board, Mike Moss has tied with Andrew Myers, with Max West's recent Thursday evening performances slotting him in to 3rd place.
