I might come on this, depends on weather, and I wouldnt need to ride back as I will meet my sister at Dalby or elsewhere. Not a definite yet though, will confirm soon. What about lunch at Dalby?

If cawood bridge is shut, could you go over the river at Selby perhaps and then up to York Will?

Its not the distance, its just that my sister will be there so I might as well get a lift back. I will be at the square at 10 on thursday unless the weather is horrible. Any idea what time we will reach Dalby?

If we go the route I suggested we should be at the visitor centre around 13.30

Visitor centre or back down at Thornton Dale. If we take a bit with us also.

Dont let the weather stop you it will be good to watch the race, and at the moment the forecast is predicting rain all day and 18mph north blowing wind.

See you at the square at 10am. Might be interesting going back into the wind on the way home. Jeff

Hope all of those who rode out to see the ToB had a good day of it - I managed to spot at least one Clifton jersey at the roadside through Dalby on ITV4 last night!

Was it my imagination that aforesaid Cliftonite was wearing a pink hat? Also spotted a couple of Leeds Mercury Jersey wearers with familar faces?

Yes I was the Clifton Jersey and pink hat! Leeds Mercury was around too, on the final climb. Was a good day and the rain held off except for a spot of drizzle as I went through Elvington on the way to the square.
