I haven't been here for a long time now, but just a quick post to say Thank you to people like Phil Bixby who, had the confidence to allow me to drive as a rookie in my first road races many years ago.

I have now driven on the Tour de Yorkshire, Otley Road Races and the Womens Tour of Britain 2018 ...

Oh and Yes im the driver !! only the start and the last few laps but 4 hrs driving throughout the evening !!

I think, in reality, people that race have got to be quite self-sufficient. I don't think we can expect members that enjoy the occassional 10:00am ride to give up their Thursday night so that we can have our fun.

Phill, Nigell always wary as its very difficult to track down ones legal responsibility's when driving a company car, having come the closest ive ever come to killing a spectator/pedestrian on the TDY driving commissaries although in a sponsor supplied car last weekend I do wonder what a test case ...
