Hello

Hi long time no see.

Not sure if the same faces are in club or if changed a lot since I last rode, i'm moving to York with my GF, so plan on riding with the club again.

Is there like there used to be a Saturday training ride? I do plan on doing more shorter faster than I used to once I've got ...

This weather is bike beating, my Planet X is out of action, the breaks won't even return after being applied to the rim, they're just stuck, I'm considering in decommissioning the Planet X two bikes are just too expensive in this.

Missed out on this had to go on my own later in the day, it appears I woke up with a full blown cold, so I went back to sleep. I'm randomly allergic to something that antihistamine tablets won't solve.

You're missing out going to Spain, don't you know the weather is warming up? It's going to be hitting 10 degrees, heatwave!!

I'll be out, in a better mood considering I might have a job at the start of 2013.

Can I also just ask why there has to be this long discussion every week even before the ride about the weather who coming and who isnt? I think we managed the Tuesday chaingangs all year without a single post and always had a ride even on some truly appalling evenings. We are all grown ups and ...

"If I could handwash my stuff..."

Okay, I've cracked. What is the technical issue here, Will? :?

Well my mum won't let me use the sink, so I'd have to do it in the bath, but I'm not sure what stuff to put on em, like just chuck a bit of Daz on em or something?

I've just hung my stuff up ...

Is it really too large?

I know someone in Abu Dhabi and their club runs are bigger than "huge" gatherings of cyclists such as Critical Mass in this country of 100 or more! They also ride at like 4AM not because of traffic though.

Doing about 8-10 hours at the moment or around 150-200 miles, I don't do as much as I'd like to but I can't wash my clothes after every ride, means I can't ride consecutive days cause my mum goes bazerk moaning about the washing machine. If I could handwash my stuff I'd probably add another 3-5 ...

Each to their own. But it's clear there are plenty of people looking to ride at a decent pace!

You could have waited for people at the stop just after Boroughbridge or at least said you were gonna burn it down the road, then ramped it up and let people who wanted to move over, you was nearly out ...

I was in the group that was up the road after the pee stop. Started with 3, up to 5 and then down to 4 at the end. Absolutely top job by those involved; very enjoyable after a ridiculously slow and boring ride out!

With a group of 18 I had one turn on the front before our mini group left. one turn ...
