Coed y Brenin anyone?

Post by tnwoolley »

After this weekends incredibly successful trip to the Peak District (thank you Steph!) I was thinking about organizing a trip to north Wales in early May to take on various routes around the trail centre. I know some of you went in late November but maybe you could be persauded to venture forth once more...?

It is actually a bank holiday over the first weekend in May so we could drive down late on Friday 2nd, cycle on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th then either head back that night OR first thing on Mon 5th OR stick around for one more ride and go home in the evening on Mon.

Its around a 3.5 hour drive (minus traffic delays) and I've found a reasonable looking bunk barn in the area:

If you think you may be interested post me a reply so we can get an idea of numbers and we'll see what happens.

Thanks for reading!

Great idea Tom. We were planning a camping/cycling trip to the lakes for Bank Holiday so I think we may not make it.

CYB is a great place though and easy to get to in an evening. The bunkhouse we used was http://www.plasisa.co.uk/ which was handy for food, beer etc. Parking wasn't ideal though as it's right in the centre of Dolgellau.
