Proposed Club ride Sunday 2nd August

Would anybody be interested in a club ride on Sunday 2nd August?

Propose a real wild one in the scottish borders starting NT884077 Shillmoor. About 26 miles long with 1500 metres of up then down.
It would be a 3 hour drive from York, setting off say 8am. I would be able to take 2 others in my car, as long as someone could provide 1 roof rack mounted carrier (I have 2).

Or alternatively, if the borders are too far for some, how about a Dales ride out of Grassington area covering a similar distance/altitude.

Or, you could just lay in bed and miss a damn good ride!!!

Any takers??

Most thoughtful of you to suggest that Gill, but I dont fancy paying the £35 day pass - bah humbug!!
