Anyone done any riding this weekend?

Post by Debs »

I've had a bonkers biking weekend and wondered if anyone else had got out - clearly saw a bunch of you at the trailquest on Saturday! Did anyone do the Lightwater event - what was it like?
I went riding in the Dales with mad Jen and Mike and finally got Pete back out after a 9month injury-induced lay-off. Got a third of the way round the proposed ride and discover a massive crack in Pete's Marin. End of ride - VERY gently downhill to road and steady ride back to car. Jen and Mike carried on until they hit a snowstorm somewhere off Mastilles Lane and then they packed in too. Good fun if not a little chilly....
Anyone else....?

I did the 10k loop at Whinlatter in the rain district.

Naturally it rained a lot but luckily its a superbly built trail. After the climb the middle section is hugely entertaining and last part made laugh and whoop out loud.

I almost went for seconds!
