Anybody interested in teaming up with me for the NYMBO mountain Marathon starting from Dalby Forest on Sunday the 24th August. I am thinking of doing either the Serious 44 mile or Sporting 32 mile route. Last year it took me 5 hours to do the sporting route which was great fun but very muddy! There are no prizes for fast times but you do get a mug and certificate. Entry is £5 to £7.
I went for the long one same as you. Not sure if thats wise the way I felt after the last one. But hopefully this time I will bring more food than just a bag of dried mango as I didn't expect it to be as slow going as it was. Hopefully it might be drier, doubt it though.
