MTB - Wednesday 21st May Lanequest

Post by Tullio »

There's no evening ride at Castle Howard this week. Instead we're off to do a Lanequest at Thorganby just SE of York. In addition to the Trailquest series, NYMBO organise a Summer series of 2 hour Lanequests. These are low key events primarily on quiet lanes and bridleways with the chance for a sociable pie and pint in a pub at the finish.

Just bumping this to the top again to remind people that there's no Castle Howard ride tonight. See below..

Both me and Paul Scott competed as a team in the Summer Lanequest at Thorganby. We managed 306 points covering 48km in 2hours 4 mins :D . Luckly we had no mechanicals, though we realised afterwards we both had slow punctures in our front tyres through thorns.

Was talking to Jeff today and, although he's evidently too modest to say on here, he thinks that the 306 points won the event.
