Oh! My Marin full sus frame bought in 2001 has finally broken, as the fracture shows:

I had wondered what the creaking sound was and began to put oil on the crack, but the sound wouldn’t go away.

And cornering was getting interesting too.

Might be a 29” hardtail next.
