Wednesday 23rd October Night Ride - Sutton Bank

Post by SteveW »

Hi all,

This week we'll try a ride from the top of Sutton Bank, north along the bridleway, then drop down the bridleway and through the forest to Arden Hall, and back up to the ridge and the cars.

Meet at the Visitor Centre at Sutton Bank on the A170 (Grid ref SE 5165 8308) for 6.45 for a 7.00pm start. In addition to front lights, rear ones also required for a short road section, particularly at the end.

The weather looks like it will dry up later tomorrow afternoon, so it should be a good clear evening.

Please post if you're coming so we can wait.

Hope to see you there, Steve

Hi Melly,

Yes, a cross bike should be fine. Most of it is a mixture of singletrack and double track, with only one long steep singletrack descent (can be walked if required). The rest is moderate to easy technically.

Hope to see you there !

Regards, Steve
