Castle Howard

Post by fatsprinter »

Hoping to pick up an Anthem X5 on Friday. Hoping. Haven't got time for a Dalby wich I'd love, but would like to get out for a quickie on Saturday.

What is Castle Howard like and how easy is it to do a quickie of say, around 1 1/2 to 2 hours, that is easy to navigate. Haven't got a garmin so it would have to be easy to navigate. Would not want to get lost and arrive back home double the time I set out. Could have gone to Dalby for that!!

Does anyone have any advice? A route or even a gpx file cos as long as I could see it on a map, I could print it and good old fashioned map read if I needed it.

Can anyone help. Many thanks

Cheers

Fats'

Naving at Castle Howard is easy if you have a map and can read it!

You can down load the routes from my Garmin connect if it helps.

There are loads more routes than this but I am sure you will get the idea.

Excellent, just the ticket, thank you. I'll give one of them a go. I presume it will not be muddy this time of year. Thanks again.
