I am definitely doing this! It sounds brill, all the fun of mountain mayhem without the staying up all night part. Let's see if we can get a whole load of teams and have a Clifton City again!

The prices for this event will increase over time.

Hi

Anyone looking at doing some short-course XC races this year? I rode most of the Nutcracker series last year and am planning to have a crack at them again.

Would be great to see some more Clifton jerseys.

At the moment the first 3 rounds are in my diary (24th April, 15th May and 19th June).

Anyone looking at other XC events?

Best regards

John

John, I will be putting all the races that Clifton people are doing in the calendar soon. It would be good to target a few things like this and get a good crowd along.

I will be doing at least one/two nutcrackers this year. Also details of their 24hr event should be on their website at the end of January. Intro if your in the square at 9am this saturday!

Steph

Will this calendar be only the races entered or a list of all the possible races out there. I must admit I am struggling to find details of what there is to do this year.

It will be the races that Clifton people have shown interest in. If we narrow it down like that then we stand more chance of getting a good turn out.

This site is a good one if you want to find more races to do: http://www.xcracer.com/

Hit the North Winter Sprinter is on the 12th February. It's a 2hour race around a 3 mile course and costs £14 to enter. I have done a couple of their races and they are really friendly events that remind me of the old NEMBA's.
Entry is open now!
