Diary Date: An Off-Road Ride for Roadies…& Non-Roadies!!

Post by Darren N »

Hi fellow MTB-ers (he says, pretending to be a seasoned MTB reveller),

I’ve just posted a thread next door on the General Discussion forum inviting everyone for a blast around the Red Route at Dalby on Saturday, 11th December at 10.00am. Of course you’re all very welcome to come along too! One piece of small print though: you’re only allowed to laugh hysterically at us if you follow it up with a few free tips as well ;) It will also give the Clifton MTB race selectors the chance to check out the gi-normous pool of talent lying latent in Clifton’s road ranks…ok, it’s more of a puddle than a pool, but still worth checking out! ;)

Hope you can make it! :)

Bumping this to the top but:

"Due to heavy snow and ice Dalby Forest is completely closed"

You can probably still ride, but whether you'd want to is a different question - it took Steve and I 1 hr 45 to do 3.5 miles of red route last weekend! We gave up and went sledging in he end..
