Not sure who is doing this one?

Entry fees:

• The entry fee for the approx. 50, 75 and 100km Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon (powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport) ride is £30 per rider and £25 per rider for the approx. 25km Mini Marathon.

Me and the family are coming. Not sure what distance most people are aiming for? I probably will not do the 100km otherwise the family we not see me. What is everybody else doing?

Lilly, my wife Rachel would be interested in the Saturday ride if its road based.

Nightmare!
Just looked at the website/rang the organiser (John Lloyd @ Builth Wells Cycles 01982 552923) and the event is full! Plus, the rugby club venue has 'pulled out' so they are looking for somewhere else to host it else it will have to be cancelled... Chap suggested to 'keep in touch' in case additional availability - but at the moment if you haven't registered there's no places (which I know includes me, Steph and Em -Pants!!...)

Wait until they re-open the entries after finding a new venue and if not we can just go and do it anyway because it is all bridleways and roads so open to everyone :o)

New venue has been found....however it doesn't look like they're accepting any new entries..... ;o(

Due to last minute changes with the original event venue which were beyond or control we were forced to find an alternative venue. The event village and camping is now based 3-4miles away from Grassington near the little village of Kilnsey (Post Code district BD23). The village is located north of Grassington, 12 miles north of Skipton on B6160. Skipton is located on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales approx 20 miles north of Leeds and Bradford. The exact venue will be signposted from Friday afternoon onwards

Unfortunately due to this last minute change and the lack of rain in the area since Easter we will not be able to provide showers and power washers at this event. We would also like to ask riders who come with mobile homes or caravans to fill up their water supplies before they come on site.

Just rung the contact number, and though they are publishing on the website it is full was politely advised they will not turn away anyone arriving on the day to ride... so looks like we are back on :-)
