Guisborough Ride - date change

I've just noticed that I'd put the Guisborough ride down for 15th Nov which is the same weekend as Graeme's Peaks weekend. I've therefore put it back to 22nd so we don't clash.

I have finally received my frame back from the importers with a shiny new powdercoat finish and serviced shock. I Spent most of the weekend building the frame up and now have a mountain bike itching to get dirty.

I would like to Christen the bike this weekend in Guisborough (as long as it's not too wet, I am a softy roadie after all!) where is the meeting point in Guisborough and are there any recommendations so I don't totally turn up underprepared?!

You'll be most welcome and I can't wait to see the colour scheme.

We're just talking behind the scenes at the moment about meeting place for Sunday. Watch this space.

There's nothing particularly special that I'd recommend over what you'd normally carry on a Sat ride. Perhaps pack a little more clothing as we'll be up on the high Moors which can get cold, particularly if we hang around for punctures etc. Other than that the usual chew bars, energy drink and 2 spare tubes is a good idea. A change of clothes for when you finish too as you will get muddy.

The frame is just red no fancy airbrushing like the road bike!
