Just to let you know that I am still out there racing! I ventured down to the second round of the national xc series at Margam Park, Port Talbot. Got off to a good start, riding comfortably (if thats the right word?) in the top fifteen, although punctured on lap two of four. as the course was very hilly, I was confident of riding back into top 20, however I made the mistake of taking a co2 cannister rather than a pump. Ended up freezing my fingers off and then had to run like a lunatic to find a pump (I was running up hill as fast as people were riding!). I got a pump eventually, however, I must have punctured the second tube running with the bike. GAME OVER.
The mtb racing isnt being that nice to me so far this year. Its got to turn around soon? I had a good day out though...
