Sutton T.T. - Thursday the 25th. of July, 7:30pm

The final event in our 2024 Thursday Evening T.T. Series will be held on the flat, 10 mile Sutton Course on Thursday the 25th. of July and we still require an Organiser, Timekeepers and Marshalls for it to take place. If you would like to volunteer to help then please add your name against the appropriate role for this, or future, events on our Volunteer Spreadsheet. Sign-on will begin around 6:45pm, with the first rider off at 7:30pm.

Hoping for a good turnout to finish the Series off in style.

We will be taking cash (£5 for Seniors, £2 for U-18s) on the night but if the Organiser or Competitors prefer for payment to be made online then this can also be done (see details below).

As a reference you should use your name followed by TT and the date of the race using the format ddmmyyyy with no spaces, for example:

Please be aware that paying online does not guarantee a start in the event, as places are allocated at sign-on on a first-come, first-served basis and in order of Clifton C.C. Members, then partner Clubs (Members of York Tri Club, York Cycleworks, York Rouleurs and Malton Wheelers), and then Members of any other affiliated Clubs as guests of Clifton C.C.

Can we also remind competitors that C.T.T. rules now dictate that it is compulsory to wear a helmet and for a working front (white) and rear (red) light to be attached to your bike when starting the event.

We were made aware, thanks Hannah, that there were roadworks on Pottery Lane in Strensall, with road closure signs in place. Alistair Cole has been round to check and has also contacted Yorkshire Water. The work has actually been completed and Yorkshire Water say that they'll remove the signs today, Thursday. Alistair also confirmed that, even with the road closure signs in place, the road is passable and won't interfere with us running the T.T. this evening. Hoping for a good turnout on the final event in the Series.
