Thursday 31st May Wheldrake TT - possible restriction

The next event in our Thursday evening SPOCO series is on the Wheldrake circuit and is being organised by York Cycleworks.

I received an e-mail from Andy Fraser of York Cycleworks on Tuesday evening to say that he'd been out for a recce of the course and some temporary traffic signals have appeared on the last mile of the circuit. If these are still in place on Thursday evening then the event will go ahead as planned but will finish at mile 9.

Hopefully the lights will have gone by Thursday evening.

Enquiries with Yorkshire Water, who are carrying out the road works, suggest they should be finished by close of play today. Fingers crossed!
