Standard letter of objection

Post by IanH »

Cycling UK have composed a standard letter of objection on the link below against Highways England for the proposed ban on cyclists using a road near Hull although it is supposed to be about it being dangerous for its use of TTs on this V718 course, no matter what you think about holding TTs on this or not as I know there are people within our club who have strong views for and against competing on this course what the objection campaign is about is if it goes through for one road it could be the thin edge of the wedge and open it up for cyclists to be banned from other roads where Highways England thinks the same.

I urge fellow club members to put their name to it please

Thanks Ian,

Notwithstanding club policy on holding TTs on dual carriageways there is a greater principle at stake here . Letter completed and sent.

Cheers David
