As a result of the cancellation of last nights event due to unprecedented torrential rain I have made phone calls and sent e mails to former colleagues in North Yorkshire Police Ops planning. The outcome of which is that they have waived the statutory 28 days notice in our favour. So, we are good to go on the 27th. Bernard has already kindly offered to time keep but we will need an organiser and marshals. It will be the last one of what has been a great series so far. Lets finish the series on a high. I can sense the rush of volunteers,....., honestly I can !
