I have to be back for lunchtime, so a slightly shorter route this week. Wind from the north, so going to return to York from Castle Howard. Out via Newton-on-Ouse, Helperby and Easingwold. Across to Castle Howard through Crayke, Brandsby, Hovingham, Nunnington, East Ness and Slingsby. 08:45 start, 63 miles square to square, should be back in York by 12:30.
