Something local, and something slightly different for our first weekend club ride in a while.

I thought we'd try combining the best bits of Castle Howard and Yearsley together.

Meet at 10.30am at the Coneysthorpe parking area opposite the lake at Castle Howard.

Sounds good! how far approx ? and can I ride on my Cross Bike ?

Hi Andy,

You should be fine on a cross bike. My guess is about 25 miles, 3-4 hours riding time.

Starting out around the Castle Howard area, then progressing out to Yearsley via Hovingham and Cawton. Returning back via Scackleton and a spot of lunch at Terrington to then finish with an final hour or so back at the Castle Howard area.
