On August 2nd I will be taking part in the Prudential London 100, ride London - Surrey. I have been fortunate in gaining a place in the ballot for this ride so sponsorship is not needed, however it seems crazy to me to take part in an event like this and not raise funds for a charity and with this in mind - and for the reasons explained on my Just Giving page - I am raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Yikes!!! just two weeks to go now.......rider number has arrived and bike and body numbers are waiting to be collected on signature.

My humble and grateful thanks to all who have donated so far, thank you also to the person who pushed the money through my letterbox recently - I put this through my Just Giving page and checked the gift aid as you requested.

Less than a week to go...oh dear, getting a bit nervous now. Last appeal for donations for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The link to my 'just giving' page is on my first post and I am almost at my target amount. If you have a couple of quid spare, this very worthy cause that any one of us might need at any given time would be grateful receive it.

Well....I did it! Not got the official time yet but Strava recorded 6.01 hours of pedalling and an average of 16mph. Humble and sincere thanks to all who donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in honour of my ride, total raised so far is £470
