Congratulations to the new Clifton CC Hill Climb Champions: Jenny Foreman & Eugene Cross. Jenny equalled Heather’s Ladies Club Hill Climb record with today’s scorching ascent
Fifteen year old Eugene triumphed in the event, the first of a host of Juniors blazing their trails today. I am sure last year’s winner Richard Douthwaite would be first to congratulate the youngster, but Richard kept in winning ways by taking the 1st Vet prize this year, with a speedy 6m 15secs. Craig Wooler rolled those big MTB tyres very speedily up the tarmac to claim 1st MTB prize.
If I say any more, there’ll be nothing to add to for the promised article for the Cliftonite!! Although, if I have made any spelling / typos below, please let me know (I blame your writing, what do you do at school these days? Use a keyboard all the time, I presume?
