Sorry it's late guys.but between the blind brow junction of howsham and leavening up until eddlethorpe.watch out for the hedges on the road that the farmers have nicely placed ready for you.

A select group of 5 in the square for 9am. If the undulating, heavy road to Malton wasn't unpleasant enough there was also a headwind.

5 became 4, then 3, then briefly back to 4 until the climb out of the town centre. This left me hanging onto the backwheels of Nick B and Kit Gilham. The gap in abilities became quite obvious when I managed to lift my head up after what seemed an age of suffering only to see Nick and Kit casually chatting as if on their way to the shops.

A bit of soft pedalling by the other two allowed me to get back on after Sheriff and ensured that we arrived in York as a trio.

Cheers
