Any chance of an East of York chaingang?

A place to talk about anything! Want to find someone to ride with? Get help on mending things? Organise lifts?

Andy J was mentioning getting the East siders together for a training ride. Is anyone still interested in doing this? I dont fancy trying to get to the far side of York.

How about suggesting a start time and place and see if you get any takers?

There's also the Cycleworks Thursday evening ride that heads out that way (leaves 6pm from Cycleworks and then heads out eastwards). And I guess there's the VC York on Tuesdays from bottom of Stockton Lane. I know Broomwagon does that one.

None of this isn't a reason why we should get some people togther as well of course!

I'd be very keen on doing a Clifton East siders chaingang.

Yes - I did mention a Tuesday evening training ride, but my work schedule has changed so can't alway promise to be there. The next likely Tuesday I could make will be 22nd.

PROPOSE - riding out to Pock from S/Bridge and pick riders up along the way.

Meeting points Stamford Bridge, Swordmans 5.45 to Wetwang
Fangfoss Carpenters Arm's 6.00 - 6.15
Pocklington Swimming pool entrance - 6.30 - 6.45

Head out to Burnby
Nunburnholme
Warter
Huggate
Millington pastures
Yapham
RETURN - Fangfoss

We might have to tweak pick up times, but how does everyone feel about the route and times ?? I'll ride it at the weekend to get a better idea.

Let me know?
A J
