TT Club Event this Thurs 14th June - Whenby Bransby

Post by ClaireG »

I'm organising this one :D

BIG Thanks to those with their hands up on the Volunteers spreadsheet: Tony Smith; Michelle W; Jaques Simon; Mike Rennison; WillK; Jess B

If you can all make it (I've seen your note, Greg, that you can't) then I believe we have enough for this course - I can finish timekeep with one of you to help me lookout for numbers.

See you at Sheriff Hutton Crossroads / Layby at 7pm. Start 7-30pm.
Please let me/Heather know if you can't make it.

Looking forward to the event, hope it doesn't downpour like last week or this w/e Club ride - or else hope you've all evolved webbed cleats

Cheers
Claire

Thankyou to all the team last night: Jess, Will, Tony, Jaques, Mike & Michelle for making it an efficient and low hassle event to organise :D

I know standing out on a corner on your own can be a long lonely stint, so I appreciate your valuable help and collecting the signs back in for me was a massive advantage too for getting home not too late!

Was a cool, blustery night, but at least we managed to stay dry.
Well done to all the riders - here's the results:

Position Name Time Age
1 Nigel Goscinski 31.27 49
2 Nathan Veall 32.42 15
3 Jon Cocker 33.03 40
4 Brendan Anglim 34.20 40
5 Mark Antrobus 35.03 47
6 Tim Richardson 35.07 54
7 Jack Harrison 35.13 15
8 Anthony Lazarus 35.41 25
9 Jonathan Wilson 36.48 15
10 Philip Buckham-Bonnett 37.10 22
11 Heather Tuffs 37.33 L
12 Sean Robinson 37.55 45
13 David Whiter 38.09 47
14 Neil Kerry (sp?) 38.24 41
15 Paul Rennison 38.35 49
16 Chris Hirst 38.44 53
17 Craig Woolley 38.50 51
18 Arny Pearson 41.02 71

I seem to be missing Numbers '2' & '6' - if you have them please PM me to arrange a handover - Ta.

Finally, can we ask you to look at the marshalls volunteers page to see where you can help out for the next few weeks:

Or let Heather know via here, if you'd prefer.

Thankyou!

+1 Thanks Claire and crew. Enjoyed my first SPOCO this year (although clearly I need to shape up!)

Claire - did you get the second stopwatch back? Realised I had it still in my hand when we went back to the car.

Yes - Thanks Jess.

Numbers 2 & 6 - Craig & Jonathon - did you go home with your numbers? If so, contact me or Heather (who can pass on my contact details) to arrange return (or definite for there next week)
