...those of you who have visited my office will know I have an aquarium in it. Well, not any more, since one of the joints split and it emptied almost the entire contents all over the floor and sundry electrical appliances, causing all sorts of mayhem. Having found new homes for the fish I've decided to call it a day, aquatically-speaking, rather than set the whole thing up again.
With the knackered tank gone, the main thing to find a new home for is the Dennerle CO2 system comprising refillable CO2 cylinders, control unit, bubble counter and combined filter/diffuser unit. It's basically similar to the system shown at http://www.dennerle.eu/global/index.php ... 06&lang=en but the diffuser also has a foam filter set-up. If you've ever seen aquaria full of lush plants like this sort of stuff..
...then lots of lights in the hood and a Dennerle set-up is the way to go.
If anyone has an aquarium and wants the kit, or if you know anyone who has an aquarium and would like it, then get in touch. I don't want any money for it - I've had ten years pleasure of watching happy fish in a natural environment - but would just like it to end up with someone who'd enjoy creating something with it.
