bridlington cc road race
i was planning on entering this race, but have read that as it is a national b race it is only open to 1st and 2nd category juniors, i thought that if you are a 3rd cat it didn.t matter if you were a junior or senior rider, you could enter the same races?
6.3.1.2 National B – open to Senior male Elite, 1st, 2nd and 3rd category riders, Junior male 1st, 2nd and 3rd category riders and Senior female Elite category riders.
Note: National B events longer than 120km are not recommended for Junior riders not in the last year of that age category
The above is lifted from BC regs (an interesting bedtime read!) which confirms you are eligible to ride as it is only 75 km.
Just remember you'll need parental consent and restricted gears.
But hey - start at the top as you mean to go on and I'll see you on the start line!
