16 Jan 2011 - Malton Wheelers Reliability Ride

We are holding a ride that starts from Netto at Malton (near the Station) and heads up to the moors. There is a 60mile or 60K route to choose from. We are setting off at 9AM and costs £2.00, under CTC rules.
I rode the 60m route on Friday morning. The roads are clear of snow, but there are many potholes and the road surface is loose in places. Dont forget, this ride is to check the reliability of your bicycle aswel.
As usual with reliabiliy rides, all riders will be given a map. There are NO course markings and no organised food stops. Hence the £2.00 entry!
For our first reliability ride, there will be no HQ, but if it is a success, next year we may consider one for after ride entertainment.
