This week's ride is part of the Clifton Challenge series with an extra 1/2 point for people riding out from the square. Routes and details are on the events website

If you wish to take part and haven't pre-entered it is worth printing of and completing the entry form and bringing a cheque or the right amount of money with you as it is very busy at the start.

I don't know whether I will be able to make it as I cannot shake of this wretched cold (feeling very fed up) If I can't I will ask someone to lead out the ride from the square and Bernard will be riding from Easingwold.

If you are going to be riding out could you be at the square for 8:20 as we shall be leaving at 8:30

Can I have the extra half point for riding to Easingwold from Stamford Bridge? - not that it will make a major material difference to the metallic value of my challenge achievements.

Really sorry but I am not well enough ride -
Richrd and Jon will be in the square if anyone else wishes to ride out
