Club run - Sunday 24th May

Post by Alice Scull »

I won't be out this weekend as we are going to a wedding so need a volunteer to lead the club run. If needed I can provide a route and cafe suggestions.

The following weekend the club run will be the Dales Grimpeur which takes place on the Saturday(for more info on that see the seperate post) so if someone wants to volunteer to lead a ride on the Sunday please post me and I will list it.

Hi Helen,

Was planning on being out this Sunday and am happy to lead.
Bolton Abbey? Good prep for the Grimp.

I'm hoping to have a pass out for Sunday too, could do with some preparation for the Grimpeur, hope the weather's a bit better though.

Rob, I'm happy to go with the flow, but I think the weather forcast is better for the East of the country. How about a trip to the coast? Filey or Brid is too flat for a Grimpeur ride - Robin Hood's Bay then :D. Alternatively I haven't done the Dalby forest road for a while. Just a thought.

The weather is looking good for Sunday - 19deg, sunny with light wind from the SW.
Bolton Abbey it is then, but I'll bring a mac!

Hills, Paul M & Rob, looks like I'm in for a tough day. Dales Grimpeur will probably be easier.
