Quick reminder: BIKE MECHANICALS
Tonight is the 2nd session of Bike Mechanicals at Cycle Heaven: All About Brakes (incl. hydraulics)
A few who had signed up were missing last week at round 2 session 1, now is the chance to join the select who are gaining the knowledge.

Willy, are you able to confirm timings/costs/availability for this please - planning to attend this evening... rang cycle heaven and they said to contact yourself!

The start is at 6.30 and runs to 8-ish.
The full programme of 5 sessions costs £12.50, working out at £2.50 per session.
All fees go to Alistair who does the tutoring.
Tonight is brakes, next week gears, then heads, bottoms, pedalos and the last session will be a free for all.
Alistair always demonstrates on a participants' bike, clearly these lucky ones get a right good deal!
See you tonight then.

Thanks Willy - unfortunately I was away from my PC from before you posted the reply and didn't get to see it until after it would have been too late to get there!

Is there likely to be another series of sessions run or a full day at some stage ? If so I would be very interested in getting along

I think it will be alright for you to come to the remaining 3 sessions, as I'll be away for these anyway.
You'll be missing flats, lubes and spokes. And of course brakes but who needs those when real bikies don't do red lights anyway. Well, that's a dig at London fixies!

About another round, don't know really, so far the tally is 20-ish Cliftonites. Cycle Heaven are generous in allowing the use of their workshop, and Alistair is clearly enjoying it, and is perfecting his skills in preparation for the TV Bike Mechanicals series which will no doubt follow soon. Chefs are now soooo passee!

So we'll see what interest there is.

Quick reminder of tonight's Bike Mechanicals, number 4 of 5. Last one next week. Same place, same time. Heard that last week some missed the session, hence the reminder....
