Maybe one for the calender next year?
Rides take place on Sunday, 5th July 2009 starting from Tockwith Village Hall. There's 40k, 100k and 200k options.

It looks good and I believe in supporting local events so will list it on the club runs list. I will be up for the 200k - it's a good route.
I don't know if Mark has chosen the Challenge Rides for next year but this event would be a good one to include as you can ride out to the start and it has a choice of 3 routes.

The 200k (I reckon it will be longer) looks much like your version of Yorkshire Alps Helen, and, agreed; should be a great day out.
Anything with Peter's name on should be given as much support by us as possible - cycling in York is much poorer by his passing.

I'll be up for the 200km if I have finished the first year of college by then.

This looks great - thanks for bringing to my attention
Andrew has been in touch re publicising our events so i think we should make every effort to support N Yorks
