Tuesday Ride, 17th

Post by Dr Dave »

Looks like the Tuesday riders will be out again tomorrow - 9:15 at the square. Thought we'd visit the Wolds unless anyone else has a route/place they're keen on. Unfortunately I need to be back for 2:30ish.....

yes I'll be there. Although after Red Nose Day, I'm still pretty tired, so be nice to me.

Stacey did suggest it wasn't my nose that was red at the end and it should be rechristened 'red arse day'

A great ride and good company thank you guys. 4 of us went to the Wolds and did a loop which included Acklam mast and Bishop Wilton hill climb.
61 miles (avg 15.5mph) with a lunch stop at Pocklington and back in York for 2pm for Dave to visit the dentist. The rest of the group had a pub stop before the school pick up.
Think we are off to Otley next week?

As Gill says an enjoyable ride - spring really is just about here. A good trip round the wolds - Acklam doesn't get any easier does it?!

Thanks for being understanding about my need to be back for the dentist. It looks like my teeth will last a bit longer - unless Howard and Co. have me chewing on the bars all round France :)

Otley would be good for next week. Could we meet in Tockwith - say 9:30??
