Hi, I promised I'd send some people the video of Norseman, which is the race Stacey & I did in Norway in August.
Turn the music up really loud and enjoy, it is only about 6 minutes. Stacey & I appear at about 4m 23s, but it is a good watch.

Triathletes do it in there wetsuits to try and get warm. Amazing how good it makes you feel, although I did have a friend who thought he was farting, but it had lumps in.
In Ironman it is not unusual for competitors to have, how can I saythis , 'messed themselves' during the run. Nice brown legs, YUK!

Cant they just quickly stop and go behind a big rock or something?? I'd hate the feeling of messing myself I'd rather loose a couple of places and go behind a rock or something!justsweat wrote:Triathletes do it in there wetsuits to try and get warm. People spend hours training, working on transitions all to save a few seconds. The thought of stopping because of a call of nature for the serious ones is just not an option.
When we did Norseman, stacey finally learnt to pee on the bike. She wanted to stop, but I was having none of it. I was about 10 metres back (so I wasn't drafting) and I have never seen so much water. Although one friend did suggest that there are websites for this sort of thing.
