Its a real help to organiser on night when a couple of Marshals offer to collect in signs - thanks to Nige and Alan for efforts.
Steve S and the ever present Mac rode out and stood in rain.
Gary K saved Hol getting wet by offering to act as pusher off.
And now to the results - great to see a lot of this years new riders were not put off by conditions.

Cheers Mark for organising your two events so efficiently especially considering Thurs night wasn't the best of nights. In fact I think the ride home was a bigger test of endurance than the time trial!
Thanks also to all the marshalls for turning out.
Cycleworks Ian Holmes is organising next weeks 10 at short notice. As I've not exactly been overwhelmed with offers of help we now have a non Clifton member organising for us. Please give him your support as he will need marshalls, pushers off and a timekeeper. If you've already helped at one event then there's no harm doing a second as you only need to ride 6 events plus one compulsory marshalling duty to qualify, and there are 12 events.
I will check out the roadworks at Sutton on Forest next week and advise if we use the normal course or alter it.

We seem to be a red flag down from Thursday
We have had problems with people pinching them in past but please keep an eye out on the Terrington bank side of road where narrows to cross bridge. Wonder what they do with them.
And you never know when you will spot a stray sign - i picked one up on the way back from the Nationals the other day. I think they walk too.
Do i have to say not encouraging anyone to try to ride carrying either a sign or pole with spike on end
Just post here and am sure someone will pick up.

I can confirm, having passed it on the Saturday ride today, that the red flag is still at the bridge at the bottom of Terrington Bank and there is also a warning sign at the jnc near Terrington village. If anyone is out that way in their car I would appreciate it if they could be collected. Thanks.
Cheers for the advice on the roadworks Nigel - saved me a trip out.
