Sunday Club Run Update

Don't think I'd want to lead the ride, I don't know the route Rob took, although I could soon sort one out. I thought it might be something you or Nick or Rob even, might lead.

I Plan to do the Mother Shipton 100, its a few years now since I did this event, I will have to enter on the day so I will bring my entry form with me already filled in.

Do you have to bring an entry form filled in for that tomoz?

Also if I have to complete the entry form whats this?:

Send to the organiser of the event:
1. completed form 2. cheque payable to organiser (not AUK) 3. two C5 stamped addressed envelopes

Surely I can just give them money?? And dont need stamped envelopes? :S

You can just turn up and fill the form in and pay, but it does save you and the organisers time if you have one filled in, in advance (plus they might have run out), the form can be downloaded:

One question, it is supposed to be 18-19 degrees tomorrow and about 7 in morning will be hitting 15degrees, there is some heavy showers expected around 10AM-1PM, should I wear a jersey and then one of my thicker jerseys over that and bring my anorak or just wear a short sleaved jersey and put me anorak in the pocket at the back?

Also on the form is DA/Club just Clifton CC?

Hi There,
Interested in tagging along for the Audax. Will the Club ride out be passing thru Huby? (I live there - so plan to just jump on there?)

Cost of the event a bit of an issue though.....

Audax was on June 29th, there is the 3bridges though that is in 2 weeks (I think).

No problem, I was just trying to be informative, even if it was abit silly maybe he meant the three bridges but I thought he was refering to the mother shipton at the time.

Anyway so who is coming on the club run tomorrow? Checked the weather and the rain dont seem to start untill about 1PM so everyone should be settled in before they get wet. We got someone to lead it yet?

Well looks like Nigel from the bike shop was leading since no one else really turned up apart from me and arthur M for the full ride, MarkA (I think) turned up for a little while and some other guy, cant remember his name, not good with names, turned up but heading back just before sutton on the forest for some reason.

Went all the way to the sea front in scarborough, had fish and chips at that fish pan, then went around scarborough and up to dolby forest in the end, did like part of the run I did on my first sunday club run, was much easier this time, went all through malton, pickering and some other places, plenty of hills, was a good ride.

New PB in terms of distance for me @ 133.2 miles and averaging 16.3mph which was okish. So was a mix of first club run, new stuff and abit of ron kit.
