Anyone know a Scottish gentleman called Dave Campbell?

A place to talk about anything! Want to find someone to ride with? Get help on mending things? Organise lifts?

Said he knows Muzzy. Having sat on his back wheel the other day for my 7 mile commute home at a consistant 28 mph into a hindering cross wind, with mudguards and rucksack. Not the kind of cyclist one meets everyday.

Where you in normal clothes too? He sounds like he could be a pro or something doing that with strong crosswinds, 28mph for 7 miles.......

Yes I remember Dave Campbell. If I remember correctly he was in the army and rode with Knaresborough RT. I rode a few open time trials and Knaresborough club events with him about 13 or 14 years ago including my first 100. I didn't know he was still living locally. If you er catch him up again Steve give him my regards.

Yes that's him, he mentioned he'd been in the army. He's living in Market Weighton now. Said he wasn't racing any more - though he seemed plenty quick enough to me.
