Directions to Coneysthorpe Crossroads - Wed's MTB Rides

Hi folks,

Not sure if they'll be a ride tomorrow judging by today's weather, but assuming there is/and for future weeks please could I be given clarification over the directions. I went for a test run yesterday, but ended up parking down a track. The route I took was from the A64 take a left at the signs for Castle Howard. I then took the left into Coneysthorpe and went past the campsite and village. Is the crossroads close to this?

You just went a bit far:

Left from the A64 signed Castle Howard, up the hill, then down to the bottom. There's a car park on your left just before the crossroad, with a lake on your right. That's the spot.
