A-ride: Sat Jun 9, 2018

Coincident with the Inters-Thrash ride moving to 9am, I've received several suggestions to resurrect the long lost A-ride to fill the void in the club's Saturday schedule. Looking to better manage my (work) travel schedule, it also serves to anchor my commitment to getting out more often.

Think more accidentally eponymous than a statement of ability , the A-ride will follow the group/social ride mandate set forth at http://www.cliftoncc.org/road_riding/social, occupying a pace/distance charter between the K-ride and the bravado of other fora engaged in the pursuit of strava records and PB's.

This week, we've agreed on a route to Rosedale; 137Km square to square and a few lumps along the way. Forecast is showing sun/cloud, with a high of 19C, negligible wind and only a 30% probability of the wet stuff.

Nice route Tony, I would love to have been trailing (maybe literally) your route but I am doing the Chevin Sportive at Harrogate looking forward to the Cow and Calf climb at Ilkley I think, catch up in the square the following week.
