Sat am training ride

Post by Andy J »

Anyone interrested in a training ride this saturday morning departing from the square at 10 am. Im looking for 2/3 hours, not bothered about route choice, could ride the normal winter route or something completely different, any takers? ideas regarding route?

Yup, I'll be there. Very much in pootle mode at the moment; happy to ride the Malton - Coneysthorpe route or something flatter.

I should be there. I'd like to do something different. Maybe Crakye/Yealsley Moor?

I propose:

Square -> Haxby -> Sheriff. Head towards Terrington but take the left before that the TT takes then climb up to the top on the little lane past the farm.

Left along the top to meet the B road. Turn right then and then back trace the reliability route as far as Newburgh Priory. Turn right through the hole in the wall and then back in via Easingwold (like the Thursday night Cycleworks ride).

Should be about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Lots of bumps but nothing too savage.
