Dr Dave was going to post a ride in Tony's absence, but he needs to be back in York early on Saturday so has asked me to post the ride instead.
The plan is to head up to Osmotherley via Crayke, Coxwold, Kilburn, WHB and Hawnby, taking care to avoid any errant fowl on the way! (sorry Craig!).
In a change to the usual return route, heading back via Cod Beck Reservoir, Faceby, Carlton Bank and over to Bilsdale, after which we can return via Helmsley or head across via Rievaulx, Wass, Ampleforth etc, all depending on time and how people are feeling.
An early start time of 9:30 has been suggested in order to ensure we are back in York at a reasonable time.

Guess you know, but just a heads up, that the old café in Os has closed. We were in the little one round the corner on Sunday - it's rather bijou and she's not keen on customers.......

Hi James
Your best bet might be to go the extra couple of miles to Stokesley. Look out for the Italian cafe Uno Momento on the high street. Dr Joe knows it well. If you turn up in pink during the Giro d' Italia they are doing meals half price
Enjoy your day out

Thanks for the heads up guys. We've had one or two other suggestions from other sources as well, so I don't think we'll starve!
