Christmas Ride-out lunch, Saturday 17th December

The annual club Christmas meal/get together is planned for the Cross Keys on Tadcaster road on December 17th. Start time to be confirmed - I'm assuming approx 1:30pm.

This is a great opportunity to have a sit-down meal and celebrate the upcoming festivities with fellow club members. The food is good value, the company exceptional AND there will be a cycling themed informal quiz - would be good to see lots of members turning out. I'm sure Stu and his team would be happy to see you - maybe posting here so he has an idea of numbers would be helpful

Thanks to everyone who has already said that they'll come along on Saturday.

Just to confirm, the plan is for all the Saturday rides to be back in York for early afternoon and then we have space booked in The Cross Keys Pub between 2pm and 3pm with the quiz to follow.

The menu is 3 courses consisting of Soup, Festive Sandwich (with all the trimmings) and Dessert. All for £12.

Although not essential, it would help Stu and his staff enormously if anyone who thinks they might attend could e-mail christmas@cliftoncc.org stating how many people are coming.

Of course, this is also a fantastic opportunity for everyone participating in our Tan Hill Ride on Sunday to pack in some calories.

Tony isn't out next Saturday so in his absence thought I'd post to suggest the Inters have a 55-60 mile loop taking in Knaresborough for a quick coffee and snack stop before ending at the Crosskeys for the meal around 2ish.
