I'm motorless at the moment, so can't organise. I also really need some rides to qualify for the series, but I could push off and go last if that helps?

Hi - I'm quite happy to organise signs etc and combine with Greg to push off/ride last man ...

...but that means we still need one more marshall out on the course - can anyone help out or provide a willing (or otherwise) volunteer? :)

Martin,
It's very kind of you to volunteer to organise but that will mean you have done 2 on the bounce and also marshalled, which is more than one would expect. Is there anyone else out there prepared to organise?

I have been away till today - can I look at my diary once I get to work

If I am not in Selby (sometimes till 6 pm) I could do organise - although I am already down as a marshall

I'll post before 9 am if so - you will have to tell me wha too do

Ok. I am in selby. I am happy to do it but don't like letting folk down. I will probably be ok but things happen. Plus the selby bypass is closed. On a good day I can be back by 6 to 6:30. Can you contact me with what I have to do. 07771 745497. I can't always answer my phone. Bob

Hi Bob & everyone,

Many thanks to Martin & Bob for offering to 'organise' tonight's event. Two things, Martin did last week and shouldn't have his results in the league compromised by not being able to get in the number of events required. Secondly, there are too many factors which could scupper Bob being able to get there is time to set up etc. Nevertheless, many thanks to Bob for offering to help.

We have an elegant solution. Dave C, who is currently easing his new hip into cycling, has kindly offered to 'organise the event.

So, we are sorted. See you there tonight

Cheers Bob, we're all sorted now. Dave C will organise, Bernard timekeeping and we have a couple of marshals and Greg has volunteered to be 'pusher off'.

Whenby is a straight forward course with only one left turn at a T junction on to a main road which is at Brandsby. All the other turns are left turns from a main road onto a minor road so a marshal is not essential. So the only junction we really do need a marshal is the T junction in Brandsby.

Everyone needs to be mindful of loose gravel washed up on bends following yesterday's downpour.

Kind regards David
