Robin Hood's Bay Challenge Ride, Sunday 15th

We were joined on this ride a few years back by Darren Bendelow, former Yorkshire Division RR Champion and 1st Cat (in the days before Elites were invented). In the last hour of the ride he professed that it was the hardest clubrun he'd ever done. While, at best, he saw this as simply a statement of fact, we obviously took it as a compliment....

Thought we might go the wrong way round this year. Out via Troutsdale and Harewood Dale. Back via Blue Bank, the Roman Road and Pickering. Just a one café strategy, but a "shop stop" half way out and half way back.

Bring your distance legs (and your climbing legs), a pocket full of complex carbohydrate, a sense of (Somme) humour and charge your Di2 on Saturday night.... you won't be pushed back from this café.

0800 prompt start, back in York somewhere between 5 and 7 depending on how many adventures we have.
