Inters/A-Ride for Sat, Feb. 6th

Post by Tony »

While mild temps and S/SE wind are forecast, we could have another Saturday Soaker lined up, in which case I be Zwiftin'

Continuing the theme of getting in a few hills, we haven't ventured out this way in a while, and I assume the roads have cleared of recent flooding. IIRC, for many, this is the preferred route, rather than heading out through Boroughbridge, Ripon and Grewelthorpe, although the latter route does feature ~200m of additional climbing.

According the to website the cafe at How Stean Gorge will be open, so perhaps I'll go for another pint of Black Sheep :D

143Km / 89 miles square to square with a bit of climbing :P

As always for this time of year, fenders and lights recommended :)

View and download the route at RidewithGPS or click the map.

The forecast has not improved for Saturday, and since I'm not feeling particularly duck-like, I propose that we ride Sunday instead, which although slightly cooler, should be dry, and provide a tailwind home.

10am in the square.
