Bleak Mid Winter Mini-Challenge Series, Part 3, Tan Hill

Post by Rob »

This Sunday.
230k, 0730 start, 2 cafe strategy, back at 1930.
Lots of flat lanes as an apperitif. Wild mountain roads as a main course. 3 hour night-ride as a dessert.
Honestly, not as hard as it sounds. Come prepared for some winter weather, with plenty of kilojoules in your back pocket, and a half decent set of lights.
Beats Xmas shopping any day. You know you want to...........

Looks a lot less bleak this time. If your feeling strong could be the year to give it a go.

Will ride from home and be on your route from Asenby / Rainton. You should catch me before Leyburn.
Well before.

I will hopefully join you tomorrow. I'll ride out so meet you on the road between Flawith and Tollerton.

Cheers
